All our natural duvets have the Downafresh brand that is filled with feathers or down that were previously washed with water and dried at temperatures of at least 100°C. Hence, bedding products that carry the Downafresh label meet the hygienic requirements laid down in the European standard EN 12935.

All our natural duvets have the NOMITE mark that is confirmation that you have made a good choice in selecting Down and Feather-filled bedding products, as they provide excellent thermal and moisture handling properties (rapid warming whilst sleeping and a rapid decrease in the bed’s humidity when the room is aired). These attributes produce an unfavourable habitat for the House Dust Mite, which requires high humidity to thrive. Additional protection is provided by the tightly woven, down-proof fabric, which also acts as a barrier to the Mites.
